Hey all

Matt

Well if i eva come to sell the car wanna put all normal stuff back on it ;) also dont have the time just yet :( so yeah ill laquer them today at lunch ill zip home and get a coat on them :D ill get some pics soon ish :)

yeah, they not that dark face to lights lol :) hmmmm polish u say, ne pics? think laquer will do the job?

send them back mate, they have been done very **** (n)

lacquer wont do **** all to them, send them back asap.

contact abarth_will on psc, his lights he sprays are excellent (y) (look at his photos!)

or do them your self, but your probably be easier buying a ready done set.

really? send them back?

;)

please dont fit them! just send them back.

TBH i dont think there are grounds to send them back since its obvious in the pics they have no shine.you could give them a good buff with car polish to try and get a shine as said.laquer isnt going to work to well on that i think as you wont have the depth due to the matt finish

oh poopers!!!!! im meeting a mate after work and he gonna look them over! if i can bring them up to standard then i will keep them to be honest! gonan test them out 2night as well see if the light from the bulbs can still be seen and such and if thats ok not being funny gonna get them shining and keep them!

can i ask, why did you bid? you said you want shiney ones, but you can clearly see from the ebay pic, they are the most matt your probably get! :p

also on the auction it looks like a mate of his, kept bidding you up, strange how when he was winning her immediatly withdrew his bid, and rebid, jsut under your highest, hmmmm...

i settled a price with him before the auction eneded and did it that way!
ok well thanks guy for the beating down for the lights guess ill ask somewhere else for advice.

thanks ne way

hmmmmm
well im gonan try my bestest and get them looking great :D then ill show u all
  UMAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA:devil:

first of all remove lights from car clean them thoroughly then flat with wet n dry paper all over the cluster with a fine grade nothing too abrasive its just to take off the top layer slightly to give the tint spray a good key to grip to,this is best sprayed in a warm dry room if you are doing this in a garage make sure the floor is damp to prevent dust flying in the air! place lights on a suitable box or bench facing upwards ensure surface of lights is dry and free of dust and imperfections , lightly spray around the edge of lights then spray in light even coats on both lights to ensure a perfect match when you have finished with the tint spray leave for a couple of days (this is what i did) then apply the lacquer with light even coats when this is done leave it again for a day or two for the lacquer to fully harden then t cut lightly until you can see a good reflection in the lacquer once all lights have been t cut (dont concentrate in one area too much) then get a good wax polish and gently polish them up (take your time) thats about it . dont rush it the result is only as good as the time and effort put into it

dark smoke tint spray made by savage from ebay and one can of halfords clear lacquer

job done (y)
