yeah i will do! just looking at urs mine are alot darker :s i have put a touch in the gaps where the bulbs go and it can be seen and kinda bright but just hope i dotn get pulled are they legal? lol whats the laws? :s

mine are legal because you can see the reflector at the bottom of the light cluster

mine are also legal, yours are not, theres no reflector.

ok well thats a small job for me and some fine sand paper i think so is that it? if i can get the reflectors reflecting again i should be fine ill pop into focus on the way home, do i just need some fine sandpaper? or some kinda liquid?

yoo can fit seperate reflectors if you like.as to legality its really down to an officers?mot testers opinion.i dont think they have testers for this as the do with tints.
what i will say to you is those lights on the back are there for a reason and for safety make sure they are visible.i have the yellow rear clusters on the cinq but am considering a 3rd brake light to ensure its well visible

ah i see what ya mean, i can alwayz put a light on my parcel shelf to make people can see whats going! im gonna look in focus and really wanna wipe off the tint spray so the reflectors can be seen, now what woudl get tint paint off the lights for the bottom part? meths? white spirt?


ALSO i have a MOT next friday shall i put them on for that? or before that? on this friday it goes to a garage to make sure everything is ok and will pass MOT so tempted to put them on for that and see what the garage say about it? good idea??

white spirit should do it.im not talking about just brake lights but all off the rear lights

well ill pull some white spirt out 2night to sort the reflectors out yeah after work going to a mates and he worked at a garage for yrs and yrs and helps with things for my car so gonna get him to look at it and see what he thinks about them for bulbs just a quicky how do i get the lights off? lol i have the lights and where the bulbs go into, ne chance i can pop the old ones off and pop the new ones on? or is that huge bolt inside the car at the back?

to remove lights pull the plug near the rear window opener (mine has tweeters there see pic) unscrew the big nut then open boot and do the same for the lower one light will come away from body then just unplug the connector

well i finish at 6/6.30 2night so ill go home and done it when i get in gonan just put them after done the reflectors and test all the lights just hope its go, dam work wanna go now and play with car

ok worse case!! that the lights are not bright enough what is the next move for me? white spirt the whole set to remove some of the blackness?

if you can remove it all then start again its not that hard just TAKE YOUR TIME WITH NO DISTURBANCES FROM ANYBODY lol

yeah i will check them after work and hope for the best but if its a no go, ill clean them up with white spirt and get as much off as i can and tint them again. i have the 14th of april till the 23rd and back on the 24th in that gap gonan re do the bumpers and add the 2 extras i want and get alloys so im sure i can add re sprayin the lights in to be honest wish me luck soon as ive done them ill post pics up

They are starting to look a bit brighter mate.

Im a bit shocked by the other ones from ebay, now they were really shiny

Anyway good luck with the lights, I still think they need to go a little bit shinier but its your choice dude and if your happy then fair play
