Technical Steamed up windows

Can somebody help, i have a mk1 75elx and all the windows steam up what ever the weather even when the heater is on it takes ages for it to clear
Has anybody got a solution for this????

Hi,

I take it you don't have the heater on re-circulation as this locks in the moisture and it will mist up quickly.

Is the car really damp inside, wet carpets etc.

Dave "heater matrix has gone", No.
You can unmist windows with cold air too.

Check your pollen filter isn't blocked and restricting the air flow.

Puntos do steam up very easily.

i would check for any leaks including the heater matrix.whether you can clear the windows with cold air its WHY the windows are misting up and generally thats down to water in the cabin/boot.forestfiat you need to hunt around the car and find wet /damp carpet and then find the source of the water.do you get hot air from the heater?if not its the matrix(take the red pill!)if not you just have to check for leaky windows etc
