Hi all, Ive recently bought a 1999 GT (I think a GT3) which didnt have an engine.
It came with a spare engine, so I put the engine in it.

However, the previous owner had chopped the loom to get engine out, just behind the left headlamp by coolant bottle. I have reconnected these wires back together matching the colours. The 4 black wires were identical (no markings to distinguish.), so I just connected them in pairs.

When I turn the key in the ignition, the code1 light stays on, and no injector light appears at all.
I've checked the live feeds from the ecu plug, and only have one live at pin 29 and a weak live that also weakly illuminates the injector light on pin, i think, 35.

Is this normal for the feed to ecu, or should there be more lives at the plug with the ignition ON? People keep saying ecu needs replacing, but given the car has been sat for years and an engine loom thats sat outside next to it and also has a bodged chunk of loom, I dont want to accept that :bang:
