Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get a replacement d/s/r arch for my 5door mk1 punto?
Mine is blistering and the car is going into the bodyshop at my work after Christmas to get all of the bodywork sorted.

I went on eper at work and fiat sell the quarter panel as a whole, but it’s £230 to me after staff discount, so I have emailed them to see if they will do a deal for me as I’d rather have a genuine panel.
Showing as available from volvera too sos Gould be here in a week, but I don’t actually need a whole quarter panel, just the arch panel.

Seen this but don’t want to get the repair done, for rust to come through again in a couple of years. (The car doesn’t see the rain or salt)

I would imagine most body shops will just weld the new panel on which is not ideal,the new panel needs to be painted on the back side with weld thru zinc primer before welding in, additional cheaper Patten panels are only poorly painted where as if you get the genuine fiat part it's likely to be made of pre galvanised steel,which ever route you chose to effect a lasting repair you are going to have to wax inject the cavity from inside the boot compartment. In terms of time it could well be much easier to replace the whole quarter panel than just weld in a part repair panel.
