Technical Blower Not Working

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my diesel mk1. My interior fan doesnt work on any setting. Anyone knows what this might be? Is it a quick fix or should i take it to an electrician?

Well most likely issues are that the fan itself has failed or the fan speed resistor has failed.

search the How To's on here, Fan Heater fix (there is one in Grande Punto section) Pic by Pic, most are same arrangement on the whole, just check the loom connection first, clean it up and normally will run ok, if keeps stopping then can buy new 5 pin connector with built in resistor on fleabay about £6.99 and that will prob fix it (thats of course if you heater motor is not at fault) Just check the above first as is normally a dodgy connection, new motor about £40 and easy 10 minute job can do yourself, also try vid on Youtube step by step guides, good luck!
