Our sporting g blew it's headgasket and I've since discovered the rear inner arches are badly rusted. The car has loads of good / new parts so wondered if anyone would be interested. We love these cars spare looking for another, we've had this one for 7 years but don't have the skills to rescue it. Might be a great donor.

No problem.

Er, yes we are, we'd rather not as we love it, but I can't weld so... To be honest we don't want too much for it but just want to see it go to someone who will use all or parts of it to keep another on the road rather just end up at the local scrappy...

I understand, well I would be happy to take it of your hands and it would be a lot of use to me.

How much would you be willing to let it go for?
Give me a text if you want on 07581032733 and hopefully we can come to an arrangement.

Thanks

Hi, it's good to know there is someone out there able and willing to get stuck in to these cars, but if you saw the inner arch on the near side you might change your mind... It needs a whole new one! :( if it hadn't needed the welding I was planning on doing the head myself. Thanks for the offer of help.

Started out with Mini's, MG's and Triumphs before my first Panda. I'm used to making my own panels as a sheet of metal is a lot cheaper and/or easier to get hold of than replacement parts.

Update: our mk1 Punto Sporting is still available. Anyone who's is thinking of restoring or looking to keep a GT Turbo long term the many parts on our car could be very useful with the numbers of these cars dwindling fast. It is free to a good home so get in touch if you are interested.

Thanks
