Hi i'm new to the forum but i'm looking for my old punto gt that I owned 5 years ago but sold to buy my focus rs, I regret selling it as it was a brilliant car, anyway it was a broom yellow gt3 reg R909 AHJ so if anyone knows anything about it please let me know, thanks Richard

Well somebody still has it as its showing up as Taxed and MOT'd according to DVLA

That's good to hear, to be honest I would like to buy it back as I loved it. I sold it to a bloke in the Reading area.

for how much you sold it for

I sold it for £1350, it was in good condition and only had 72000 on the clock and was near standard spec. I bought it for £2000 2 years earlier with 47000 miles on it with a standard punto bumper not a gt front bumper which I replaced from Basildon.

got any pics of it?

not far from me.. was the car near Membury in that time..??

there was a Reading based member into Mk1's..not sure what cars though.. MFrV1..??

I did see a yellow GT for sale near work about a year - 18 months ago.

That model Punto always looked amazing in the sporting Yellow. Hope you get reunited with yours!

I hope you find it Richard . I was set for selling my gt at Stanford hall 2013 but never got there due to a fuel pump failure , glad it broke down as I would have regreted parting with mine too ??

I was genuinely gutted to sell it, I didn't even watch it drive off down the road as it was my pride and joy but I didn't have space for it and even though i'm a ford fan and live my rs I still have a soft spot for the gt.

Cheers, it was my first choice of colour but once I viewed the car I liked the colour a lot.

any news on finding the gt ? I asked a mate who had a yellow gt if it was the one you are looking for but the reg was slightly different .
