Headlights getting weak,
High-Beam blue indicator is slightly lit, even with the Low-Beam (normal lights) turned on.
Any ideas?

Earthing problem. Check wiring behind speedo pod, all collumn switches and headlight assemblies.

A detail that might help: Right after switching the headlights on (low-beam) the left headlight comes on very weakly for a second or two. During this time, the blue "high-beam" indicator illuminates but not with it's normal brightness . After 1-2 seconds, the left headlight gets brighter and at the same time the blue indicator dimms, but it's still remaining visible at night. The right headlight works fine right from the begining.
Nevertheless, total headlight brighness seems to me significantly lower that the original.

In that case you may want to look at fuse number 7 in the main fuse box (behind the panel by the driver), they go in this order...

F11 F9 F1 F10 F13
F14 F15 F5 F3 F2
F12 F4 F8 F7 F6

Fuse 7 (10amp) controls the left hand main beam and the main beam warning light. It could be that the bulb has a very high rating or is faulty therefore drawing too much power which then restricts the power going to the warning light.

Try changing the headlight bulbs and see if this helps.
