Hey everyone, just bought an N reg black fiat punto mk1 last month (55s 1.1) i know, it aint powerfull, but insurance charges a lot for first time car owners, aniways, i've been kitting and modding it up bit by bit, here's a list of what's on it.

Under the bonnet:

All standard 1.1 55s
Only thing added is a K&N Air Induction Kit + K&N Air Filter.

Here is a video of the roar :p
Video

Body:

Eyelids on headlights (xenon bulbs on headlights).
Darkened Red Rear Lights.
Clear Indicators, both front and side ones.

Ice:

Sony 4x50 cd player

Front: 2 40w Kenwood Speakers (in original punto mk1 speaker sockets). 2 Infiniti Tweeters (100w) with reference.

Rear: 2 100w Kenwood speakers (in original punto mk1 speaker sockets). 2 JBL 250w Speakers & Pioneer 12" 1000w Sub Both Hooked to a Shark V9 Motek Amp (1000w). 2 Infinity Tweeters (100w) with reference.

Inside kitting:

Black Leather interior.
Momo Steering Wheel (With momo boss fiat kit).
Ripspeed pedals and gearknob.
Fiat Black and Red Belt Straps.

That's what's installed right now. In the next 2 weeks, the next will be installed:

Body:

Extreme Bodykit (Big Maybe, not sure).
WRC Hatchback Spoiler.
Peco Exhaust System
Exhaust Popper (Button Activate it, so you can pop it at your own discretion).
Tottally Glossy like Black rear lights.
Black and red flames lateral vinyls (take the whole of both sides), the outline is red and since the car is black you'll only notice the red outline which is the effect i want to achieve.

Inside:

Engine Button Start kit.
Red inside light instead of the standard white one.

Other:

Alarm System with immobilizer and Sensors.
Central Locking
Delocking kit.

Obviously it's not a show car yet, but maybe some day, i need some nice rims badly, but stupid fiat fitment makes getting a bargain hard. Aniways here is a pick of the current look of the car.

Hope you liked it :D

Ok, but wont it leave some sort of parks? and if it does, what can i use to remove the marks? also, what is a beesting aerial?

a bee sting ariel is just a ariel that looks better and shorter than the normal one so called because it looks like a beesting, you can pick it up in places like halfrauds.
t cut should remove the marks
might find it hard to get a bodykit for the 5 door because some say the rear bumper is different to the 3 door. abarth bodykits(or replica) look better than the extreme in my opion but its upto you.
are you seriously thinking of getting the exhaust popper? is that the one thats supposed to sound like a dump valve. spend your money on something better like the extra insurance all these mods are going to cost.
some good ideas though mate you will have to post some pictures up when you are done.

Nice, Wtahc ur vid clip of the K & N.. its put me off getting a K & N for now untill i get an exhaust lol! It sounded like u have the guy from Chainsaw Massacare in ur bonnet! with an exhaust u sohuld get a real ROAARR! :p

Hi i want a bee sting on my mk1, i took out the old aerial yest to see how it came away and its a strange fitment. All the bee stings aerials ive seen are screw in yet this looked more like the end of a flat head screw driver!Howd ya get around this???
Cheers

White 60S
15" Fox multi spoke
K&N induction kit
Sportex twin exhaust(not fitted yet)
Boot spoiler

Well basically a mate got it on hes punto and it sounds like a rally car which i loved, the other good thing about it is that its not permanent meaning, its at the push of a button so it will only pop when u want it too, about the bumpers, im going to the scrappies today, wish me luck

Ok so i went to the scrappies today and i got EXTRA lucky, a fiat mk1 with 15" rims and brand new rubber, the rims have a few curbing marks, and one big ass curbing mark on one of em, but i know a place they refurbish lightly damaged rims for 15 quid a rim, so ill take em there, paid 40 quid for the rims with rubber.

:D

nah, most of em where really ****ed, someone had tried to take the rims of by bashing the bolts? rims look and seem ok though, so ive alredy found 4 locking nuts on ebay for a quid, ill have to get some bolts elsewhere though :/ do halfords do em? are they expensive?

Yup, then again there wouldnt be much sense in spending all of this money, then something might happen and not getting any money cos of not declaring them, just not worthed the risk

nice car and rims .. i have a 55s aswell the metallic blue one got it for just over a month now.ave an picture of how the k&n looks under the bonnet /?
