Any you guys got a suggestion on this? The car upon start idle ok for 30-60 seconds. It then starts to idle between approx 500-800 rpm going up and down. This can happen at any time. It also suffers cut outs when coming to a stop. I have changed all filters inc fuel, I have recently had the vehicle worked on by a so called "fiat specialist" (not dealer) who has replaced the cat 3 times cos each 2nd hand one he has used has either been scrap or put on a complete exhaust that was scrap. If cat gone/faulty would it cause this problem? I ask this cos I have a BMW as well and on one of their forums it suggests this as a possible fault. I have also had this prob a while back, a quick blast of redex seemed to help for about 2 weeks. I have cleaned the carb out quite a few times actually. Does anyone know the location of the ICV on these? Would a dirty ICV be a possible fault? Any suggestions on how to rectify this would be gratefully received.
