(the girlfriend wont invest in a haynes manual [:(!])

#1: headlight bulb is presumed dead, what is the easiest way of checking/changing it on a mk1 punto sx? sidelights and full beam are fine.

#2: fuse box, where the hell might i find this?! [?] had a quick look earlier but the dark was setting in.

any answers appreciated.

steve [)]

sorry i meant to ask about removing the bulb....

do u have to remove the whole headlight unit by undoing the 3 bolts on the top of it? or is there an easier way? [V]

You just remove the cover from the back of head light, then wire clip pull bulb out take plug off bulb holding the metal on bulb, when re-fitting make sure you don't touch the glass part of bulb.
Theres a fuse box in the glove box at the top, there are some more fuses behind the little shelf thingy on the drivers side you have to remove 2 screws at the top to get it out.
HAYNES MANUAL ebay or libary:)

cheers dave :D

yeah just spotted a punto manual on ebay, its L-P reg tho, for £2.00. my gf's is a T reg. are there any physical differences after P reg or is the manual the same for L-V too?

many thanks.

p.s. while im at it, theres a knocking noise which sounds like its coming from the O/S/F wheel area, only happens when driving over potholes or bumps etc, but its quite noticable when ur driving, any ideas? any common problems here or should i just check for the usual i.e. loose wheel bearing, suspension bush, etc.. ?
