This is my first car, a MK1 Punto 60SX from 1999, also known as Jimi :slayer:
It's not perfect but it wouldn't be fun if it was! :devil:
Here's how I got it:
So, after some deep thinking, my first personal touch was a new Fiat gear knob and a white leather gaiter (I know it's too short, I'm gonna get round to it eventually!)

After that my stock tweeters melted and my radio broke, so I got myself a Pioneer head unit and a pair of Alpine E-Type 4" Speakers for the front doors:
And some Alpine E-Type 6"x9" on the parcel shelf for good measure; I know what most of you will say but I have to use my boot quite often, and the sub will come... eventually:
So I went further, I bought a Twin Pipe Exhaust which came with a 3 step reducer:
And this is how it looks on Jimi now:

For Christmas I got these lovelies seeing as my old one were a complete mess!

And last but least, on Wednesday I decided I'm gonna give my car some colour.
Step one was to get the old side moulding (to others may be known as "the plastic bits on the sides") off, get all the old tape and gunk off the car (which was a BIG, MASSIVE pain!), paint them and stick them back on.
Gave it a bit more thought and decided to do the front and the rear of the car too. Here's how it went:
When I came to do the back I had a bit of trouble:
The paint run out!!! So I had whizz off to Halfords where I got the paint from (rather cheap actually!), whizz back and finish it off!
But luckily they had more paint in-store so managed to touch it up!
Note to self: Always have some adhesive to clean away any spilled paint!
The finished pics will be up soon! Definitely by the weekend!
My next plan was to upgrade the steelies to alloys which I should be getting this weekend, sponsor decals on the front and back quarter panels, get tint on my 3 back windows, possibly might add a banner at the top of the windscreen, cut down the gear stick, and obviously get the tail light fixed!
Also, any suggestions are more than welcome!
