Hello,

I have had this a few times in the past but normally it goes away after a drive or 2, meaning that it is only condensation in the outlet system.
But now i have a constant flow of White smoke from the exhaust.

I had replaced my valve cover gasket about a week ago, And since then the car was standing still because the alternator was broken.
But i have replaced the alternator and now that it starts again the smoke is there.
Maybe something has seized open, or shut.
I can only imagine that this is something to do with the fuel injection system giving too much petrol into the combustion chamber.
Or am i missing something?

Would love to hear what you guys have to say before i spend money on something that isn't needed.

thanks guys!!!!!!!!

as above, compression test it. White smoke is usually water vapour which leans towards head gasket failure (water channel to combustion chamber) generally but compression test will reveal that to be true or false - go from there..

Just for the benefit of anyone who posts what engine is this?
