hey guys am new here got my self a little punto 60 1.2 on a r plate the prob i have is last week the injector light started coming on and started misfiring at 60 mph upwards.nipped to scrap yard got both coil packs put them on and it solved it.now its come back a week later with a vengeance lol it getting difficult to start some times it will tick over others it just cuts out its started cutting out at junctions.now do i order a bran new set of coil packs or is it something else.as its a work car need to sort it lol just done cv joint today thanks

I learnt the heard way a few years ago that the £15-£20 jobs on ebay are a load of rubbish.

If you want the car to run right for a decent period of time get genuine coil packs even if 2nd hand.

If the new coils sorted out the problem momentarily this would suggest the problem lies with the ignition.

I would be changing the HT leads and spark plugs too.

The ones on e-Bay are perfectly fine if you buy them off the right seller, I bought 2 new Lucas Coil Packs for £20.00 6 months ago and they have been fantastic with no grief whatsoever!

well got a new coil pack didn't cure it changed plugs that maid it run better till i drove it i wobbled the wires at top of the cam belt cover and below it its now sorted lol so at a guess its the camshaft sensor or the crankshaft sensor correct me if im wrong lol

cheers well took it for a 50 mile run last nite no problems it drives like there was nothing wrong lol these Little cars do make me laugh
