I've had the lower engine /gear box mount replaced recently. The other two upper mounts have already been replaced a year ago. I have noticed that since this latest one has been changed, a lot more engine vibrations have been transferred to the cabin. At idle or when pulling away there's also a fair few rattles audible. Has anyone else had this issue? I guess all I can do is wait for the rubber to settle and become "worn in".

I think they've put it on the right way round. I'm not sure if it's possible to fit any other way.
See my attempt to photograph this bellow!

Same as I have this problem too not sure what it it maybe it needs to settle in

Well, mine never did settle down and is just about the same as after it was replaced. This is a real shame because before this I'd got the cars drive pretty much spot on and it probably didn't need replacing anyway. (It was replaced 5 years or so previously by a main dealer so I expect the old part was a Fiat original).

The garage didn't want to replace it again this time - I don't really blame them - as its quite a convoluted job.

Before I had this done I replaced the two side engine mounts myself as it was an easy job, this helped with adding a precision to the feel of gear shifts and didn't cause any untoward affects at the time.

So I'm still putting up with the vibrations and rattles today :(

Mine constantly vibrates on idle and when pull of once you get going its okay but when from start it does it again ive tyres adjusting it abit to see if it would do something but no luck maybe the rubber is a different compound not very flexible but at least my flexi is lasting longer in exhaust
