Hi guys,

I have a Mk1 Punto with hydraulic roof pump, the resevoir needs topping up can anybody tell me the oil spec?

Contemplated chip fat but would prefer to use the correct spec.

Didn't know that was possible - I want to know too.

Go into boot and on right hand side there is a small access panel with the pump/reservoir behind it.
Just above the reservoir on the pump body you will find a allen key head bolt at 12 o clock. Remov ethe bolt and with a small syringe you shoul dbe abl eto top up the reservoir, mind you if its empty its probably for a reason!

I had trouble with the roof - would not close fully. making a real struggle to latch. Thought it was weak hydraulics, but discovered if I just lower front and/or back windows a bit, all is easy.
