I have a Fiat Punto 55sx which I would like to customise. As it only cost me £1250 I really don't want to spend a fortune on it so I'm considering my options.

The car's metallic yellow with black bumpers and standard side skirts. I do actually like the colour scheme but I don't like having so much plactic.

I was wondering if it would be possible to cover the bumpers and skirts in carbon fibre and whether anybody had seen this done before as I'm not sure how it would look. How exactly you you apply carbon fibre? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bad idea.
Firstly it won't look much different, the black bumpers are textured so the "carbon fibre" wouldn't bond properly. Enough carbon fibre to cover your bumpers would cost about £400, it then needs to be shaped, set and autoclaved.

ive seen a punto wid carbon fibe(look alike not real stuff)it wz black and only had a little on the colour coded bumper
but on a yellow one i think its a bad idea it wont suit it. get them colour coded
