I bought my first gt punto 2 weeks ago and since then Iv noticed she runs a little lumpy I haven't tried anything yet nd my dads givers me loads of things of which it could b but I thought I'd come on here see what you guys have to say sen I first start it it's perfect nd the once a little heats in her she start idling funny ??any ideas?nd wen I'm driving she's fine no power loss no nothing but wen I come to a stand still she start idling rong??b glad to hear if any1 has any ideas thanks ..mike

have you got an injector light on which shows there's a fault? does it sound like it's not running on all cylinders or is it just the revs dieing and picking back up?

No there's no lights!its defo running on all cylinders it's more of a revs dieing nd picking back upbut little bit more than usual the whole car shakes???Iv done all the earths to still no change the cam was slightly out nd wen I changed the belt nd put back it was fine for a couple of days then went back to normal?!thanks for your reply I was on holiday so could reply quicker!!!thanks again

I have a air leak behind the engine it looKs like it coming from a hose simler to a radiator only it's air leak nd it has like a tin foil cover over it any ideas wot this hose is 4???thanks mike!

the only hoses with a foil around them at the back of the engine are to do with the power steering. can you take a pic?
if the hose is split replace it and check all the other hose because air leaks in the boost pipes will cause running issues.
next thing to check and clean would be your idle control valve.
