After changing my brakes all round i find that the rear wheel bolts hit the springs holding together the new shoes:confused:

I Cant find away around this other than buying new wheel bolts or fitting my alloys on the car. One of which (the one in question) is not yet fit to go onto the car..:(

m12 x 1.25 are the size of the locking bolts which are shorter than the standard and these work fine, so i'm driving with all 4 locking bolts on the steel wheel:p and none on the alloys:bang::p

I have tried to find why the spring no longer fits with the steel wheel in place but the pictures before and after look the same:confused:

Any Ideas?

:yeahthat: I had the same issue. I had X bolts from different Fiats (Uno, Tipo, Punto) floating around the workshop and some of them were, say, 1-2 mm longer than the others. I simply ground them.
