Hi all!

Its about time to change the gearbox oil in my Punto 75 SX

According to the handbook it recommends the Tutela Car ZC 75 SYNTH.
My question is if there are any equal alternatives to that oil?

I've posted a thread about this question before on:
https://www.fiatforum.com/punto/268399-gearbox-oil-punto-mk1.html

The Tutela's specifications are following:
http://www.alfetta.dk/images/More alfetta pictures/tutela 75.pdf

I found something that might work as an alternative but its Semi-Synthetic and because of that im unsure.. Isnt semi-synthetic more thick in cold that fully synthetic wintertimes?

But this alternative is Motul Motylgear 75w-80:

Thanks

I called my local Fiat dealer on he told me that they dont use Tutela olis but the use Midland Oils:

He recomended:

Midland Synqrogear 75W-80 Fully Synthetic, API GL-4/5, MT-1 (E.P Oil)

When i used Midlands oil-guide this came up:

Midland Synqron 75W-90, API GL-4/5, MIL-L-2105/2105D

So... im all confused again, read that MT-1 stands for "non-synchronized manual transmissions" i dont know if my transmission is synchronized or not..

You can use Tutela Technyx instead.

ZC 75 Synth is a 75W80 API-GL5.
Technyx is a 75W85 API-GL4+ (aka GL-4/5).

Lots of either one around, 75W80 API-GL5 might save .x% fuel.

Look guys, it's true that the recommended Lubricant for Transmission is Tutela ZC 75/FF.

I want to know if I can use Shell Spirax S2 G 80W-90 API GL-4 Gear Oil (1 L)

I drive a Fiat Linea Classic Petrol with a 1368 CC F.I.R.E Engine.

Do please reply!

Hey guys, the brand doesn't make a difference.
If your oil data says something like you should use
"75W-85 API-GL4" then search for that, this is the keyword
