Hi, I just bought a mk1 Punto and found a couple of small things that I would like some advice on.
I found out yesterday that the steering wheel and by association, the column can be pulled upwards about an inch or so towards the driver. I suspect the column bushes are shot but not certain. If it is the bushes, can they be replaced on their own or will I have to change the whole column? It's a Mk1 so it's not an adjustable column, there shouldn't be any movement in it.
The other thing is the indicators have stopped working. there was a noise from behind the dash that sounded like electrical arcing and now nothing. I think it's the relay but I'm not sure where it's located. I would be grateful for any advice.
