O Wise Ones's I need your help please.

I have a 1998 Fiat Punto 60 1.2i that was running perfectly well and now refuses to fire up although it cranks, this was after some paper accidentally and unbeknown to me until afterwards got caught in the belt and cam cogs, the belt has not snapped and is not slack or loose.
I have just put a brand-new Crank-Sensor in it and also 2 brand-new Coil Packs but it still won't fire up.
I have also checked the fuses and wiring and they are fine.
There is also plenty of fuel in it and the fuel pump is working as it should.
The battery is also full charged.

Please let me know what the problem can be.

Thank You in Advance!

Thanks for your reply Tony.

Just before the recovery bloke towed me home he checked the plugs and said there was no spark.
Even without any spark could it still be the belt having slipped, if not please tell me what else it can be.

Many Thanks!

8 valve? I would not go by what the green flag guy says and id check the plugs were geting a spark, any dash lights on? Imob light eml?

The pulleys turn, the fuel is going through but there is no spark.
The key code light still goes off after a few seconds as it should as well as the injector dash light.

Thanks Fingers.

When the cam sensor is replaced for a new one does the ECU need resetting and what are the chances of the ECU having become damaged?

Many Thanks!

Ok there is normaly 2 plugs/HT lead to a coil pack. Check the input voltage to the coil pack as fingers says.

Update.

The belt had jumped 4 teeth and had thrown the timing out causing it not to start!

Thanks for all your advice and help.

Best Wishes!
