Hey sorry if this has already been posted but I am a new user and couldnt find one. Basically my hazard lights in my punto mk1 don't come on at all and garage said I need to change the hazard light switch. I wanted to do this myself to save some money but don't know how to change it, I have found a new one at a scrap yard but don't know how to remove it as they will not do it for me. Anyone know how? Thanks.

I think it just levers out. (Careful use of a screwdriver)

Check for 12v to the switch. Malfitting of a radio is a common cause of no hazards.
I have recently fitted a new stereo into my car think that could be the problem if so do you have any idea how to fix it? Thanks

If I remember right then the switch is located within the indicator unit. To get to it you need to remove the cowling that goes around the steering coloumn (a few screws located underneath). I cant remember if the switch can be seperated on its own or not. I believe the flasher unit for this is located 180 degrees round the unit as well.
If the switch cant be seperated then you need to remove the steering wheel to remove the whole unit (which is held in with a clamp arrangement with 1 bolt). If you have an airbag then be very carefull and if not confident dont do it!
