Usually you don't you tint the out side of the glass. this is how the professionals have done it for years on cars with bonded screens
Other wise when you bond it back in you are effectively glueing the tinting film to the car and the glass is held on only by the film
Also if you tint the interior of the glass you will get air bubbles round the elements of the heated screen it is impossible not to
Thing that gets me about the tints is that I know that if I was a policeman (which I'm not) I'd always suspect that behind the tints someone was smoking crack or having sex with a ten year old. I'd pull them immediately!
