Hi,

I have recently swapped my 1.6 astra mk 4 for a 1.2 fiat punto sporting 16v, i went to fill the screen wash a few days ago and realised that it was pissing it straight back out from underneath the passenger front wheel arch.

I'm just wondering if some can help me or give me some advise on how to replace the full unit???

Have you checked to see if its as simple as a pipe coming off of the pump?

If its like the mk2
You need to pop the wheel liner off to see whats going on

Either sum nob before left it full of water - it froze and cracked and they didnt replace it over the summer

I think its a mk1 Ziggy. And no Most Easterly i haven't checked anything yet pal, im f*#king useless with cars lol but i shall get a friend to give it a check i would like to have a crack at it myself. and cheers guys

Upto 1999 is mk1
mk2 1999 - 2003
mk2b 2003 - 2006

What i meant as well - the mk2 its only accessable via the Front Wheel arch
It might be same for the mk1

As for getting to it - totally DIY
Just Make sure you dont rely on the silly sizzor jack - set of stands well worth it
