Hi all, I have a 1998 Punto Cabriolet. The roof (top of windscreen surround) mounted aerial has been clapped by the roof one too many times, and is bent and has lost the plastic cap, so I'm looking for a replacement.

Ebay item 140423149464 (sorry, can't post a link because I'm a newbie) looks to be the same part, although it is specified for the Mk2 and Mk3, although it does claim to fit Bravos and Bravas of the same age. Does anyone know for a fact this this will not fit my 1998 Punto? I guess that being a cab, it might be different from the non-cab versions.

Also, is there any online resources to browse parts? My other cars are BMW's and there is a resource called realoem (sorry, can't post link) which is extremely useful. Anything similar for Fiat? TIA

i had a similar problem. i have a 96 cabrio with a disintegrating aerial base. bought a new aerial on ebay i was assured would fit - it didn't. i have no effective radio.
because the bodywork area is small, the aerial base must not exceed the available metalwork. you need to get an assurance from the seller of the dimensions. better still, go to a fiat dealer and get someone to look at it before searching for a new part.
the aerial is accessed by removing the interior light assembly [easily done].
