Hi witch brakeing ystem do i have in my Mk1 1996 punto is it a lockheed or a bendix system?? as im not shure and puzzeld over witch one i have thanks guys

Lockhead seemed to mention Brake Fluid and hydrolics
Bendix seems to mention a lot of compressed Air on Heavy vehicles and stuff
So i'm saying punto has lockhead - as we use hydraulic pressure in form of brake fluid

Thanks as im buying this set as the punto is in need of some stopping power for the M.O.T

it should be written/printed/ casted into the brake master cylinder, i had the same problem and couldnt figure out which system i had
Hi mate,
As Sgt Rich says you need to look at the calipers etc, and it will be on there some where, as you could have either. My bet is Bendix, but could be either.
