Hey guys.
New to the forum so go easy!
I've had a look through other posts about this but none seem to have the same issue.

I've got a small leak around my fuel filter, whether it's my filter or my lines I don't know.
Basically, I'm 99% sure it's the bolt type filter, but I can't get it off for the life of me.
I've tried three separate times, but it doesn't even budge.
I've sprayed WD40 on it and left it over night.
Exactly how easy are they meant to be to get off?
Once I get it off I can either swap the filter or change the lines.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

you cant get the lines off the filter?

I changed mine resently. the line to the engine came off really easily but the line to the fuel tank was a right pain. from what i remember the clip thing on the end of the pipe has 2 pressure point at either side to loosen it from the filter itself.
Even with these pressed in it was pretty solid so i just had a rive at it and it soon came off.

just make sure your face isnt anywhere near the filter when your wrestling with it, i nearly got petrol all over myself when i did it.

At the engine end put an absorbent rag over the schraeder valve on the fuel rail and press the valve pin. This will release fuel line pressure making the connectors easier to shift and less petrol will blow out.
