hi all a few probs
1 , drivers elec window is up, wont come down, can here the motor spinning when push button up an down, im told the cables can snap,
is this a possibility or something more like gear box gears rounded off, any way of finding out can the elec motor be opened,/ repaired pasenger side works but goes slow last few inches of up - close..
2, how to tension either the power stering belt, timming belt , or the alternator belt, it squeals when engine cold first start, for a few minutes then no squeal, its difficult to pin point being so close to each other,, iv noticed that the squeal is constant ie it doesn't increase when revving, same as idle , is this a common fault ... 98 k on on milo got no service history at all or emitions report, 6mnth mot
iv also notice a small amount of black oil in the air cleaner box has saturated the paper filter on the left hand side viewed from front, the dip stick is just above the full mark, no sign of any engine oil leaks on the engine, doesn't seem to burn any not smoking at ex,, power seems good through the revs, pulls well up very steep hills in 2nd 3rd,, not shore what mileage i should be getting,, any pointers would be greatly appreciated,, thanks in advance, Paul....
