We have had our Cabrio for 11 years now and in all that time the roof has leaked from the front corners. I have adjusted all the windows and the roof was replaced a couple of years ago, but the leak persisted due largely to capillary action where the front of the roof meets the windscreen. The cure up until now has been to keep the car in the garage, but other demands on garage space have left the car out in all weathers, but I have found a solution.

I always thought that something like vaseline might do the trick, but was warned off it because it could cause damage to the rubber, so I have smeared a small amount of silicon grease between the roof rubber and the windscreen header rubber and it seems to have done the trick. The grease is thick enough for the job and repels the water.

If you suffer from this problem, give it a try. (y)
