i have a warning light which looks like a hose squirting out water, pop up when i start my car up. it is there for about 5 seconds then goes but popped up when i was driving the other day for a few seconds then went.

does anyone have any idea what this warning light is? thanks

That is your injection system warning light. Also known as an Engine Management Light.

The light should come on when you first turn the key, and then go out. Its should not come on at all whilst driving.

You should have the fault codes read to identify what is causing it to come on whilst driving.

If it comes on while driving im guessing something is due to be on its way out just pay like £50 at the local fiat dealers to have it plugged in they should tell you what the problem is no point guessing cause it could be anything!!

As it appears to be an intermittent fault it might not show up on the code reader; my experience of Fiat or other dealers with their code readers is not good; I would not part with £50 at this stage it might be just a loose connection; if car is going ok suggest wait and see but you could try just pushing home all the connectors you can see....
