hi all

im looking to repace spark plugs, fuel filter, one way valve for washer jets & wiper blades for a Mk1 fiat punto (1997) 1.1L petrol.

any advice on which spark plugs i should use? - was looking at bosch Super 4 plugs

any advice on which wiper blades to use - cant find the rear wiper anywhere, halfords are over priced.

and this washer jet valve thingy, dont even know what it looks like, but 90% it's broken as it takes several seconds for rear washer to spray window and front dribbles when using rear washer. using front washers seems fine..

Thanks for any help (y)

rear blade, buy a refil instead of a blade, cost me a fiver for 2, the non return valve is again a fiver from a fiat dealer, and see attached picture so you know what your looking for. Spark plugs easy goto www.eurocarparts.com and put your regplate in for the correct plugs.

I have recently discovered that my car does not have this return valve. i've gone along the entire washer piping to the rear and have no found a single valve.
There are tow pipes conected together with nothing between them!

Also, the feul filter is well and truly stuck on the car - rusted on. would i be looking at a fuel spill if i wack it off with a hammer? if yes, any other suggestions?

cheers.

Whack it off with a hammer? More like a fire than a puddle as metal on metal could spark.

grrrr, the rust on the underside of the car is growing daily but im unable to sand it all off, treat and respay until july.... does anyone have any suggestions to slow the rust down, no pics of this but its on left side where the "rust proof" coating is, purly the "rust proof" coating.

And any suggestions for removing fuel filter without the possiblity of a fire?:)

grrrr, you try to post something, press backspace to remove an error then the whole flipping webpage goes back!:bang:

anyways, Been shopping for parts.
EuroCarParts are given away a free poster (Big turn on poster):slayer:

halfords were forced to drop price by £5 as i refused to pay £24 for non-return valve & 2L transmission oil - EP 80-90

i've gone for denso spark plugs - no idea what the diff is between any of them so hey(y)

Still cannot remove fuel filter, so im planning to leave old one in place and get new feul line to go around it and fit new filter onto the new line(y)
(Gonna look silly to who ever owns the car in a few years time though :p
