My heater/fan only works when switched to the highest setting.
Is this common and is it easy to do a DIY fix on?
Car is MK1, 1997 SX60.

Resistor pack inoperative. Change.

Now I hate to barge in but where is it located exactly? I have only top speed on 3 of my fleet!!! And Im dreading asking BMW for that part!!!

I have the same problem and i also do not know where to find the resitor?

its close to fan

Mk1 and mk2 puntos got different ones, but a mk2 one will work too, you just need to play with wires to get correct speed

I had the same problem on an Alfa Spider, that one was reparable. Is the one on the MK1 reparable to?

The fuse is about a €. Make sure the fan motor runs freely as this can be the problem to start with, ie dry motor bushings.

I looked at your DUCATO post and it is pretty much the same as it was in the ALFA
so i take a look at it in the Fiat so i can order the right one.
