other half was complaining of fuel use and last night the strong smell of fuel around the car

had a look under it today and run the engine, and fuel is leaking out of the fuel filter which is well rotten with rust

have costed one up at £4.50+vat

It looks like it has those daft fiat push fit connectors, so I was wondering if they are easy to change?, how do the connectors undo?

Tools are available fairly cheaply.

looks like it could be the original!! [car is an R plate]

do I have to have a special tool then to undo it? or is there another way?

Thats what we like to see, 'Full Service History', not.

I've never tried it without the tools, sorry.

i didnt think you needed a tool for it, you just pushed or pulled the grey connector things?
