(no mister policeman im not trying to race you!!!)

i got a problem with my engine idling from 900rpm to about 1500rpm it revs up and down, it does this ten times and them thrashes itself up to 6000+ revs until i tap the pedal.then off it goes again.
(strange the butterfly on the carb doesnt open) (seems to pulse fuel)
and at low engine speeds it 'KANGAROOS'. which clears above 3000rpm when i put my foot down but then the F/M light come on. so far i thought it was the idle control vale/ stepper motor, but replaced entire throttle body, still doin it!!
hmmmm nxt step its gotta be the lambda sensor, replaced that as well, STILL the same. arrgh.:bang:
(NOW WHEN I TURN ON THE IGNITION I CAN HEAR A BUZZ AND CLICK GO ON AND OFF AND THEN STAY ON).
my ideas are maybe the map sensor, a fuel blockage or this EVAP system thingy.

please any help/ideas or past experiences are welcome. im only a diy mechanic/ EX service techy. lol

Likely cause -- and there are several -- is an air leak from one of the hoses to the throttle body. Ones to the MAP sensor are particularly difficult to spot, but any could be the culprit.

The idle can pulse if the throttle cable is too tight.

thanks have checked the throttle cable. all is good...
i found that the map sensor connector on the inlet manifold was blocked up a quick blast of 9bar air line pressure got rid of this.
idling good so far.. ill see how it goes
