Hi all,

Ive been looking all over for a couple of replacement strut bolts for my punto mk1 but cannot find anywhere. could anyone help?
thanks, Matt

Cheers, have tried that but they want me to climb up and get it myself. its very diffifult without a torch to heat it up, so I cant get it there. is there any part catalogue type website with part number etc?

Unless they have a special shouldered bolt, you could go to a specialist fasteners factors and get some high tensile bolts of the correct diameter and length. Dont forget to use a good quality anti seize paste.

hi guys i have just done the springs on my sons mk1 puntang and had to cut said bolts off as for the scrappys i wouldnt there likly to be as bad as the ones on ur car so fiat was the place to go for me bit pricey for 4 nuts and bolts but made the rebuild a lot faster they worked out at £25 but would advice on that route and for future strip downs a good dollop of copper grease will aid the job no end hope this helps :D:D:D:D:D

They would have been £1 or £2 apiece from a fasteners factors. While there you can get some decent anti seize paste. The Comma stuff sold at Halfrauds et al is just copper tinted grease and not much better than plain grease.
