Hi

My badges are looking rather old and crusty, im looking to get some new ones but think they current red and white fiat badges would look out of place on my green mk1 punto. I dont particularly like the current bonnet badge or boot badges.

I was perhaps looking for the work punto in chrome lettering with either the word sport or something similar to match. Then a new badge for the front, i need some suggestions on what might look good and where to get them from.

Any help is greatly appreciated
 
If you don't have a sporting, please do not put a 'sport' badge on. Puntos may be inexpensive, but they do have some class about them. Save the MotorWorld chrome-letter crap for Saxos and Corsas.

As for chroming the original Fiat badges, that's fine. Take off your original badges, soak them in some paint thinner to remove the old paint and fake chrome. Then, spraying lightly and evenly, spray them chrome. As for the front, if you find that there are no mounting holes behind the badge, you may want to consider not having a badge there at all.
 
There were some metal Fiat & Punto style badges on ebaY recently similar to original but metal not crappy plastic.

Its ok, i do have a punto sport :)
And i think my badges are beyond repair as looks like they might have accidently been t-cutted. They have small chips in etc anyway which doesn't look good. I am gonna go smooth on the front should there be no mounting hole but want a simple metal maybe chromed word Punto badge for the back
