Just bought my first Punto! A Mk 1 1998 60S 3-door. It looks great but the milage is high - 77K. It's had a new cam-belt recently, and the sump casing has been replaced as well. I can't see any sign of head gasket problems either. It handles and drives well except for 2 problems:
1) The brakes are pretty spongy - does this mean the brake fluid needs changing / topping up?
2) The view out of the back - I'm average height, but when a car is driving behind me, I can't see its roof in my rear-view mirror. Is this a design problem, or should I be checking the suspension (and yes, the tire pressures are fine).
