can someone please help i have punto 60 selecta auto 1995 , had a strange ticking noise coming from under timming belt cover so i removed cover to investigate now car will not start, its turning over but will not start.

Have you knocked the crank shaft possition sensor (near the bottom of the timming belt cover). A broken one of them will stop the engine from running! Check the wires are all ok
