I know its a common problem but my drivers side rear has gone all negative camber again. Just looking over the paperwork and the nearside was replaced at 42000 miles, and not long after I bought it the drivers side one went 52000 miles.

Its now done 74000, the last 2 years over a fair amount of speedbumps to and from work which might have caused extra wear. Thing is I can't feel it moving under compression or otherwise, its going to fall off the jack if i shake it anymore. The hub seems fine and all the rubber bits on this diagram are fine, torsion bar doesnt look bent and the subframe arms look good, so it must be the arm bearing right? The other side camber is fine, why would the newest one would fail before the older one?

Also does anyone know if there is a aftermarket heavy duty one? I somehow get the feeling the oem one is the same one fiat fitted at the factory thats obviously not up to the job.

Thanks.

when i first got my punto i needed a radius arm for the mot but that was 2half yrs ago aint had a new 1 since and the parts not fiat x

Always use axle stands for safety (y)

This was with two axle stands and the jack under the damper to compress the lot up, but it didnt budge either hanging or under load so Im not sure it is the bearings, as the time it failed the mot it was for excessive play not just squiffy camber and no worn tyre.
