My mother drives an "S" reg selecta which has suddenly lost all drive. She parked it on Tuesday night and the next morning No Drive regardless of selector position (D R L ) the car will not move, There are no unusual mechanical sounds and the ATF is at the correct level and clean. Just one strange thing, when R is selected the warning buzzer sounds as usual, if I then select N,D or L the buzzer continues to sound for 20/30 seconds, i'm sure it didn't do this before. I am fairly handy with the spanners and any help would be most welcome. Thanks

I cant really help with the problem but i used to own a selecta and as soon as you move it out of reverse (R) the buzzing stops so your right to be sure it didn't happen before
