Friends,
has anyone had any problems with the automatic gear box of the 1996 Fiat Punto Selecta SX 60, Automatic?

If so, could you tell me what happened, what the symptoms were, why, and how it was resolved?

Also, does anyone have the Owner's Manual to this car? I just need a copy of the front page and page 62, which I think refers to the gear box.

We are in great need of this information - and would be most grateful for your help.

Hi not sure if i can really help but i used to own a selecta punto recently crashed it and now have a manual punto the punto i now have came with the punto owners manual so i had a look at the page u asked for i don't have a scanner so i cant really copy the pages but on page 62 its just warning lights.

I never had any problems with the transmission only sometimes the warning light for a fault in the automatic transmission would light up and soon disappear... i've actually only found out that the warning light was for the auto trans.. i didn't have a clue what it was until i looked in the manual there now

The only other mention of the selecta in the book is about how the transmission works on page 248 explaining gear ratios
