Im 28 have full no claims and have my fiat as a second car with limited 4000mile, + breakdown, legal and personall injury. Fully comp is £270. Went to put my mum on as a second driver to save some money and it doubled the cost!!! She is 60 with full no claims and no accidents.

Im 19 and got a Mk2 1.2 8v! And its £1874 fully comp. Reason its so high was mayb because of the £5,500 crash i had in my Mk1 last yr

AT 18 i had a cinq sporting £1750

AT 19 than got a bravo 1.9 JTD SX £2000

and at 19 iv now got a mk2 1.9 JTD ELX and its £2000

Reason its so high was mayb because of the £7,000 crash i had in my cinq last yr:bang:

Im 21, but drove since I was 17 on my mum's car insurance. Check out different insurers cause some ask you if you've drove before you had your own insurance and some take that into account.... (y)

ive got an 04 1.2 8v punto, no mods, and i'm just over £360 for fully comp. My first year on my own car was just over £410. I've got my mum as an added driver, as for the first year it really brought the price down.

I hate to say it, but being so young and being male it will put your insurance up. I work with a guy who is 17, drives a 1.0 saxo (and didnt declare his alloys!) and his insurance fully comp is £1800. (n)

If you do try comparison websites, check out the cheapest price and then go directly to that insurer for a quote - the middle man always takes a cut!!
