General How Much Is Your Insurance For Your Fiat?

My insurance was £1200 for the year, on a 2005 active sport 16V, and im 18... Not too bad, i don't think!

I'm 17 and mine cost me £1500 on a 1.1 MK1 55S. I felt that I'd been majorly ripped off, tho reading some of these posts, it seems I got a bargain :D

in my country if you are under 30 years old you pay 300-500 euros with a 100 euro franchise for a Punto 1.2 (maybe +100 euro if it's HGT). A girl friend of mine used to pay 2500 euro for a brand new Mazda Rx8. Both insurances providing full protection from damages.

i have an 1.2 8v active sport with zero no claims im 24 and mine is £900for the year fully comp

Mk1 60SX £46 fully comp !

Actually £116 less £70 cash back with Quidco and , of course, I'm an ' old timer '.

Don't forget Quidco with new insurance.

Mine is about £750 on a Punto Cabrio 90 ELX 1.6 with my mum as the named driver. I'm 18 with 1 years no claims gained as a named driver. Makes all the difference with my mum on the policy.

22yrs old 2000 Mk2 1.2 sporting 2 years no claims and i got my quote down to 630 quid with legal cover thats TPFT.

I paid 1200 for the first year on my active sport 16v which is insurance group 6! (that was on a provisional licence)
This year with one years no claims its £1400 tpft fully comp was going to be 1900, it really is crap being 18 and im dreading telling them about the induction kit....

I'm 22, have 3 years no claims and my insurance on a 1.2 8v is €982 fully comp :)

My son got his crappy 1994 1.1 (?) 5 door 55s Punto when he was 17... I got quotes anywhere from £2000 to £6500 at the most... The car only cost £300..

In the end we have him down as a named driver and its still £1800... We live in Manchester.. Bloody scandalous...

I got mine for just over £1,000 fully comp, for my 2001 1.2 Punto

18 years old, had been driving for 4 months, had pass plus, I'm the only person on the insureance, thats with More Than.

I've just got a quote for when I renew it, and its only £780 fully comp, which I dont think is bad at all.

it doesn't matter how much the car cost, its because of the high risk 17 y/o male driver, its not the car you are insuring but the damage he could do with it.

now he isn't insured at all because you have admitted to fraudulently obtaining insurance, so it is now void

not anymore it isnt, since named drivers can now earn no claims, everyone was doin it so they made it official i do beleive, otherwise why would named drivers be able to earn no claims:confused:

i was tempted to 'front' when i started driving 3 years ago but happier now that i have my own 3 years NCB. It starts high enough but if ya stick it out for a few years it becomes more reasonable i think.
