Hi,

I have just brought a soft top punto 90elx m reg and am over the moon with it. However when I am driving along a light on the dash board comes on! not sure what this light is or means, can any one help? the light is just above the Batterey and oil light. It looks like a light maybe or a something squrting water. I havent really got a clue help.........................

Its the fuel injection light, means there is a problem with the fueling that the ecu is picking up, most likely clogged injectors, try putting some redex(injector cleaner) through it

Nonsence Wizo, very rarely is it blocked injectors.
More likely to be either the Lambda probe or the EGR valve.
Assuming that your car has the 1.6 sporting engine I would say to check the EGR valve, I had the same problem with my 1.6.

The EGR is a barrel looking thing under the standard airbox. It will have a plug on top and is held down by 2 bolts.
Undo the bolts and the plug, take the EGR valve off. Try pushing the plunger in with a pen or a screwdriver, if it sticks there is your problem.

I said try to clean the injectors first as this is very simple to do and could be eliminated as a cause if the problem continues
