I can only imagine how you feel.. I felt sick to the pit of my stomach when my timing belt snapped and my engine was ruined. £810 later I live to tell the story. And I imagine you'll be the same.

I'd be cautious about the impact damage though, maybe the suspension too.. as it sounds like a far amount of weight was shifted about between the cars..

How did it happen..?

repairable surely? should just be bolted on right?

Or am I thinking "land rover" too much here?

na its not bolted on, its a main support of the car, for the bumper to be damaged like that... after a crash, even if the bumper is still complete and looks ok, behind is usually still bent.

basically as i was going past the junction she pulled out hitting the front... which pushed/ tipped me into the car on the other side of the road causing damage to the drivers door and that area...

she isnt claiming fault but theres 4 witnesses that say they saw it all and it wasnt my fault, aswell as the woman that i got pushed into

thats exactly what i think really, the car had to be towed away as the drivers door wont close properly, the passenger door wont open and something in the arch has been pushed into the wheel:cry:

oooohhfff! Could well be a good night eileen mate!

but what does an artist do if his unfinished canvas painting gets broken?

Sulks a bit, then gets a new canvas! ;)

Gutted though man, is a beaut.

but make sure you get a 5 door this time! 3 doors looks shi*e and is far too impractical for me!

looks like its missed the leg to me.

but all them pannels painted at insurance approved body shop may make it a write off.
but that is good news, get a payout from here insurance, keep car for say £100
get all the bits in same colour from a scrappy wings are bolt on, and you could be quids in, may have enough to get an abarth kit

probably write off then (n) as if the passenger door won't open the main saftey shell has been damaged
the driver door not closing is obvious and the arch liner is probably hitting the wheel
