hi there
i have a mk1 punto and have just changed the gear box, however the driveshaft cup on the passenger side is to small and the driveshaft will no not go back in, i have a larger cup for it but cant get the cup out of the gearbox for love nor money.
any ideas

the cup is splined and on the end is a circlip, get a pray bar and lever it out [between cup and 13 mm nut]at the same time hit the cup out with a hammer on the oposite side of the pray bar.that usualy gets them out.

do you not have to dissaseble to put a new circlip on to the new cup though
