Can anybody help me please?
Recently ive had an accident in my punto. it was a knock-for-knock
and both parties have to pay for their own damages. Lucky for me, the only damage i seen was a new radiator bottle, front pipe and gearbox mount + the new bumper ill be needing ...
i now see that my passenger side drive shaft is in two peices. The CV joint (i think it is called CV joint) has come apart. there are greasy knuckle type joints sticking out half way down the driveshaft which must have happened when my gearbox mount gave way dropping the engine and putting force upon the driveshaft.
Does anybody know if there is a way of repairing this or if this driveshaft will go back together cheaper than it costs to get a whole new driveshaft from a scrapyard?
Thanks all.
Ryan.
