well ive bought a few things.. power boost vavle...
then relised it wasnt even for my SPI mk1.. its for MPI so that dont work..

i bought a mod chip. ( but ive read a bit and dont wanna put that on )

any others?
ive got a good exhust system....
ive got a k&n ... but iam outta ideas -.-

does this actually work? and wont break the car after a few months like the cheap stuff on ebay ?
does it work for a fiat mk1 1.2 ?8v ?

don't put a lot of fuel to weigh the car down

remove parts of unnecessary bodywork
remove rear window screen
full compartment with helium

ignore the other guy you don't need the seat

:ROFLMAO:mao!!

Stripping unecessary weight is one way to give TINY improvements.
Lose the K&N and got for a GSR.
Add the Mckritch chip.
Supersprint manifold, full exhaust system from manifold back with either sports cat or de-cat.
MPI conversion, engine transplant, custom turbo.....giggle gas.

It all depends entirely how much you want to spend in terms of time and cash.
Getting anything half decent from the SPI is pretty much impossible without a custom turbo as the single injector limits you to realistically about 80bhp.

punto,s for what they are,.. are nippy, well the 1.2 mpi 75/ & the 16v sporting...you can fiddle about with them all you want gsr/kit, s/s exhaust etc,etc,etc.. but at the end of the day no major increases, well none that some are after,& for alot of money i may add.. its even less obvious on the spi models.. there are certain things you can do quite cheaply to make the most of your punto, but most are looking for a bit more horses than realisticly possible.. believe it or not one of the first things i did was to put a seperate filter /breather oil from my rocker/cover seen a difference rightaway more responsive... after that things were not so obvious. allright make any car breath more easily will make a difference, but not what some are expecting. in some cases some young guys slap a loud backbox on & think it,ll make a difference in speed:eek: there are more guys on here who are experts compared to me & will tell you more tips but what is obvious the wee punto is nippy & can be made more responsive but not that faster as some would want..as some say save your money & buy a turbo, you can do things with a turbo:D...happy days:D

if you half the weight of the car you efectively almost double the power right

and you double the standard brakes performance

i remember soom time a go a certain mk1 uno with a na 1300 engine tuned to 100hp at 7500rpm and went to 8500 yes the timing was very advanced

and it weighed 650kg including driver

and would do o to 60 as fast as a standard turbo and managed 140
